Gastroenterology Fellowship
Thank you for your interest in the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. Our three-year training program is designed to provide fellows with a comprehensive training in all clinical aspects of Gastroenterology. We are accredited by the American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
We offer two Gastroenterology Fellowship positions annually for our three-year program supported by Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital.
Program Information
Our Mission
Our mission is to produce expert gastroenterologist ready for autonomous practice. Trainees of the program gain knowledge and exposure Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Motility Disorders, Hepatology, Transplant Medicine, Interventional endoscopy, and Bariatric Medicine. We promote the development of effective communication skills, and empathy while delivering compassionate care.
Graduates of our program become board certified in the subspecialty of gastroenterology.
