She completed her PGY-1 at Ascension All Saints in Racine, WI and went on to staff as an inpatient pharmacist at Ascension Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI for 5 years where she dabbled in ambulatory care and oncology until she had to the opportunity to move to oncology full time which has started her tenure at CSM. She would most liken herself to the character of Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec (if you haven't watched it, you have homework) without political aspirations. She's spent way too many hours watching and rewatching her favorite sitcoms and medical dramas (Office, Parks & Rec, Big Bang Theory, Greys Anatomy to list a few). Lately, she finds herself listening to the "rewatch" podcasts of her favorite shows. March Madness is her favorite time of the year, but she feels like she has barely been able to watch it over the last several years. She's a fitness enthusiast who loves weight training and has taken up running with the goal of completing a "race" every month in the year 2023. She has a terrible sweet tooth and will often have candy close by. Finally her world outside of work revolves around her toddler, Owen (be prepared for stories, videos, and pictures!). Word of advice, dig into the hard of this year, it will be challenging but worth it in the end. She looks forward to meeting and working with you!
