Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program Application Process & Selection

Applicants to the Ascension Wisconsin Podiatric Residency Program must be graduates of a college of podiatric medicine accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME). The program requires applicants who are currently in podiatry colleges to be in the upper 50% of their class. The program, at its discretion, may waive this requirement for applicants who can demonstrate solid academic credentials and other exceptional qualities. There is currently no application fee.

Applications

All PGYI positions will be offered through the Centralized Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR) following their established guidelines and policies.

All PGYI applicants must pass Parts I and II of the national boards prior to the time they begin training. All PGY2 and above applicants must pass Parts I, II, and III of the national boards prior to the time they begin training. D.P.M.s (applicants who have already graduated from podiatry school) must provide additional items in addition to their CASPR application. Please contact us for further information.

Interviewing

Interviewing will be done through the Centralized Residency Interview Process (CRIP). In the event that special circumstances require it, interviews may be conducted at another location.
