Family Medicine Residency
Who we are
Welcome to the Ascension Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency Program, where we offer a fresh, innovative approach to resident education through our "Build Your Own Adventure" model. Although we are a newer program, our diverse and experienced faculty are here to help you design a residency experience tailored to your unique professional goals.
With a long-standing tradition of supporting family medicine residents and serving the Milwaukee community since 1972, our clinic is rooted in excellence and community service. Our primary hospital partner, Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, combines academic rigor with a family-centered focus, offering residents a well-rounded clinical experience. You'll also benefit from collaborations with fellow residents, faculty, and community doctors across multiple Ascension Milwaukee-area facilities.
We are deeply committed to addressing health equity and closing care gaps, providing an unmatched community medicine experience through partnerships with local organizations. Our program equips you with the tools and support to become an outstanding, full-spectrum family medicine physician, emphasizing not only clinical excellence but also lifelong wellness and self-care.
A unique highlight of our program is the inpatient pediatric rotation at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana, fully supported by the residency. In addition, our modern Ascension Villard Avenue Family Health Center offers a state-of-the-art environment for learning and patient care, where you'll be supported by a dedicated, skilled staff throughout your residency journey.
Join us at Ascension Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency for a transformative, personalized educational experience, and become part of a team committed to making a lasting impact on healthcare and the community.
