A Message from our Program Director

Thank you for your interest in one of Michigan's premier General Surgery residency training programs.  Genesys is a state-of-the-art 410 bed facility located in beautiful Grand Blanc and offers the latest technology and equipment serving a diverse patient population with extensive pathology. As a core clinical teaching member of the program for the last decade, I have seen many changes in Graduate Medical Education and together with our dedicated faculty, we have been able to fine-tune our training program to turn out what we believe is a fully prepared, competent and confident surgeon.

Our five-year program is designed to develop exceptional, well-rounded surgeons who are recognized for their competency and skill.  I am very proud that our graduates who have sought subspecialty training have been successful in obtaining their desired fellowships and our board pass rate has remained at 100%. 

I am so pleased to be leading this outstanding program and I am confident you will find the operative experience and training to be unmatched.
