The Family Medicine Residency Program at Genesys Regional Medical Center is the largest program in the state of Michigan and one of the largest in the country. The program includes three-years of comprehensive training in family medicine with positions for 39 residents.
Genesys Regional Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency is one of a handful of residencies offering both, Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA) certification. With a long tradition of family practice training dating back to 1971, our program is one of the most innovative residencies in the nation and our graduates are highly recruited. Our training embraces the broad spectrum of family practice from inpatient care to the ambulatory setting.
