About the Program

Ascension Genesys Hospital is a state-of-the-art 410 bed facility located in Grand Blanc, MI, off of I-75 between Detroit and Flint.  The hospital has 40 ICU beds and about 65,000 ER visits annually.  The Medical Procedures Unit consists of 5 procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EUS/ERCP suite.

The Gastroenterology Fellowship at Ascension Genesys Hospital is a 3 year program aimed at developing conscientious, professional, skilled gastroenterologists motivated for and dedicated to lifelong learning.  There are 7 dedicated clinical faculty including 5 key clinical faculty, one of whom underwent a 1-year advanced endoscopy fellowship in Wisconsin.  The program is accredited by the AOA and ACGME.
