Compensation

Each year, Ascension evaluates our pay ranges by comparing them against local and national data for each position. 

The following is for the Academic Year 2025:

  • PGY1 - $70,544.70
  • PGY2 - $72,238.02
  • PGY3 - $75,305.36
  • PGY4 - $77,564.52

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Stipend

Annual stipend of $1,500. Reimbursable expenses should be verified in advance by the Program Coordinator and or the Program Director. Full policy and eligible/ineligible expenses will be reviewed during Orientation.

Time Off

Residents are awarded 120 hours of Front-loaded time off (FLTO) annually, which is used for Paid Time Off for vacation/CME and for any sick/urgent time away. PGY-2-4 receive an additional 40 hours of PTO for Board Examination, Interviews, and Conferences for Scholarly presentations.
