Curriculum and Rotations

Goals and Objectives

The primary goal and objective of the program is to train and develop resident physicians to reach their full potential as specialists in obstetrics and gynecology. Residents gain vast experience in all aspects of women’s health care through inpatient and outpatient rotations, surgical rotations, didactics, and opportunities for community engagement. Residents will be prepared to enter independent practice through progressive responsibility and autonomy for patient care; diverse clinical experiences and patients to develop the special knowledge, skills, and capabilities in the care of women’s health across the lifespan; and having faculty that are committed to training the resident physicians to be lifelong learners.
