Compensation
Ascension Wisconsin provides competitive resident compensation reviewed annually based on regional and national benchmarks. The following compensation reflects the 2026-2027 academic year (July 2026 - June 2027)
PGY-1: $72,660.32
Time Off & Holidays
Residents receive 120 hours (15 days) of front-loaded paid time off (PTO) annually for vacation, sick leave, and CME activities. Ascension also recognizes eight paid holidays each year. Residents assigned clinical duties on a holiday may bank that holiday time for future use.
