Ascension St. John Hospital Academic Cardiology

During this rotation Interns will rotate on cardiology consultation service with a fellow and an attending. This month gives you more time to focus on cardiology and helps you to become familiar with EKGs, Acute Coronary Syndromes, Arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, and other interesting cardiovascular diseases. You will also observe common cardiology procedures—cardiac caths, stress tests, nuclear imaging, and electrophysiological procedures.
