Meet Our Residents


Marwan Alehmoud, PharmD
Resident
Marwan is originally from Orland Park, IL. He completed his undergraduate years at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. He then attended Medical College of Wisconsin to complete his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. His clinical interests include ambulatory care and infectious disease. His rotation electives are medication safety, family medicine, infectious disease, and oncology. He is also completing a teaching certificate through Concordia University of Pharmacy. His year-long research project is Real World Persistence of Therapy & Prescribing Practices of SGLT2 Inhibitors at a community hospital/health system. In his free time, Marwan enjoys watching football/basketball, spending time with family and friends, and playing videogames.

Khush Kahlon, PharmD
Resident
Khuskrm (goes by Khush) is from Sterling Heights, MI. For his undergrad, he went to Wayne State University in Detroit and completed his PharmD there as well. He is interested in ambulatory care as well as infectious disease. For his elective options he has chosen Family Medicine, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Medication Safety and Oncology. His research project focuses on Evaluation of Empiric Antibiotic Therapy for Diabetic Foot Infections (DFI) and Adherence to the 2023 IWGDF/IDSA Guidelines. In his free time he likes to keep up with his Detroit sports teams. He also enjoys making puzzles, binging detective shows and recently has started to collect vinyls.

Yulia Nagai, PharmD
Resident
Yulia is originally from Japan. She completed her pre-pharmacy years at Purdue University. She then transferred to complete her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy while working as a pharmacy intern at Denver Health Medical Center outpatient pharmacy. Her clinical interests include infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship and pediatrics. Her rotation electives include infectious disease/antimicrobial stewardship, family medicine, NICU/women's health, and cardiology. She is also completing a teaching certificate through Concordia University School of Pharmacy. Her year-long research project is Once Versus Twice Daily Caffeine in Premature Infants with Apnea of Prematurity. In her free time, Yulia enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching movies and Netflix, listening to music, and playing with her cats.

Mattie Sullivan, PharmD
Resident
Mattie is from Graham, TX. She completed her BS in biology at Tarleton State University. She then transferred to the University of Houston College of Pharmacy to complete her PharmD. Her clinical interests include women's health, ambulatory care and SUD/psychiatry. Her rotation electives include Women's/NICU, ambulatory care, and informatics. She is also completing a teaching certificate through Concordia University School of Pharmacy. Her year-long research project is The Use of Betamethasone in Premature Deliveries. In her free time, Mattie enjoys crafting of any kind, taking her dog on walks around the neighborhood and solving many puzzle games.
