Meet Our Residents

Melissa Bruckner, PharmD
Resident
Melissa grew up in Minocqua, WI. She earned her undergraduate degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College before pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin through the Dual Degree Program. Her clinical interests include ambulatory care, oncology, and cardiology. Her elective rotations focus on family medicine, oncology, the thrombosis clinic, and infectious disease. She is also working toward a teaching certificate from Concordia University School of Pharmacy. For her year-long research project, she is working on the Effect of Prescribing Metoprolol Succinate Versus Carvedilol Therapy on Administration of Other Guideline-Directed Therapy for Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction Type. Outside of pharmacy, Melissa enjoys hiking, attending live music events, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kaitlyn Lantman, PharmD
Resident
Katie is from Lindenhurst, IL. She attended Butler University for both pre-pharmacy and pharmacy school. Her clinical interests include Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Her rotation electives include Emergency Medicine II, Critical Care I and II, and Infectious Disease. She is also completing a teaching certificate at Concordia University. Her yearlong project is Hemodynamic Effects of Ketamine for Rapid Sequence Intubation in Critically Ill Patients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, boating, and watching football!

Neishka Ramirez Corchado, PharmD
Resident
Neishka is originally from Puerto Rico and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Illinois. She is currently in the acute care track at Ascension SE St. Joseph Hospital. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine, oncology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, and psychiatry. Her elective rotations include oncology, emergency medicine II, and critical care. She will be completing a teaching certificate through Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. Her year-long research project focuses on New Strategies to Reduce Unnecessary Antibiotic Use in the NICU: A Quality Improvement Initiative. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake, trying new recipes, watching Netflix, and spending quality time with loved ones. She is passionate about advancing pharmacy practice, health equity, and ultimately hopes to open an independent pharmacy in Puerto Rico.
