Our program is adaptable enough that you can choose what you want to focus on for your future. Our curriculum is created to be flexible and longitudinal. On our hospital rotations in pediatrics, obstetrics, neonatology and adult medicine our residents are the only residents involved in patient care; creating the widest range of experiences and highest volume possible. This also provides many inpatient and outpatient procedures and normal, high risk, and operative obstetrics. There is autonomy in the care of patients with readily available faculty supervision.
Our graduates have chosen a wide variety of locations and practice styles including rural, suburban, urban, international, university campus health, hospitalist, academics and sports medicine. They have broad training and are never limited in their scope of practice. Half of our graduates practice obstetrics with many performing surgical obstetrics. Many also perform EGDs, colonoscopies, and colposcopy/LEEP.
Our residents (your peers) and our faculty (your mentors/supervisors) are of the highest caliber – well-rounded, capable, and fun. We truly have developed a residency family that is a great place to work, provide care to our patients, and grow as learners together. This community is why I left Florida and moved to Wichita.
Please spend some time and look through our website at the resident and faculty profiles, curriculum, and fellowships to get to know us.
We would love to have you apply, interview, and meet our residency family.
