Welcome to the Radiologic Technology Program
The faculty warmly welcomes you to the Radiologic Technology Program at Ascension St. Vincent’s. Our mission is to educate and prepare Radiologic Technologists who are dedicated to meeting the comprehensive needs of their patients with professionalism and compassion.
Our team of experienced educators is committed to delivering the highest quality education in Radiologic Technology. We aim to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience necessary for success in this rewarding healthcare profession. In return, we expect each student to strive for excellence and perform at their highest potential.
We believe that cognitive learning is best achieved through strong academic instruction, while effective professional behavior is developed by integrating classroom knowledge with real-world clinical experience. Psychomotor skills are mastered through diverse and hands-on clinical practice. Importantly, student participation in clinical settings is designed to complement—not replace—the work of qualified radiographers. Each clinical learning experience is guided through four key phases:
