Primary Care Track

In June of 2015, Ascension Saint Agnes introduced a new Primary Care Track within our Internal Medicine Residency. This track provides an intensified and diverse ambulatory care experience allowing residents to focus on learning outpatient care in different patient populations within Baltimore and surrounding suburbs. Primary care track residents get close mentorship with primary care internists within the community, focused learning of outpatient quality improvement and increased exposure to outpatient care in a variety of specialties relevant to primary care.

The track has a total of six residents, two at each level of training recruited over three years.
