Welcome to the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Ascension St. Agnes Hospital!!

We are glad you are interested in our program. At St. Agnes, we believe residency is not just about becoming an excellent physician, but it is also about finding your voice in medicine, growing with a supportive community, and caring for patients in a way that makes a lasting difference.

We’re here to help you develop into a compassionate, confident internal medicine physician ready to thrive in whatever path you choose.

Resident physicians at St. Agnes gain rich inpatient and outpatient experiences, with rotations at Johns Hopkins Hospital and opportunities for electives at University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. Every year, we host the state-wide American College of Physicians Associates meeting, where our residents excel through clinical vignettes, poster presentations, and oral competitions.
