Application Information

Our Program

Thank you for your interest in our program. The program’s deadline for accepting application is December 31, 2021. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we highly recommend that applicants submit their applications as close to November 1, 2021 as possible for maximum consideration. Applications for the 2021-2022 recruitment season are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). All positions are only offered through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).

For the 2022 ERAS cycle, our program will be participating in the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC’s ERAS program. Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our program will conduct virtual interviews only.

  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Medical School Transcript
  • USMLE Transcript
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • Photograph

Tracks Offered:

  • 12 positions for Categorical Track – 1247140C0
  • 2 positions for Primary Care Track – 1247140M0
  • 4 positions for Preliminary Track – 1247140P0

Program’s Selection Criteria:

  • Some clinical exposure in the US healthcare system, (for international graduates)
  • No cut off year from medical school
  • Some research experience (not required, but preferred)
  • No minimum passing score for USMLE exams, although most of the candidates who receive invites have scores above 220 on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.
  • To ensure our residents will be able to pass the American Board of Internal Medicine certification exam (ABIM), no more than one failed attempt on taking the USMLE is accepted
