Admissions Process
Conditional acceptance, if offered, does not guarantee enrollment in the program. Full unconditional acceptance is contingent upon meeting all the following conditions:
- Submitting an official high school transcript to verify attainment of high school diploma prior to enrollment in January. ( This applies to applicants who have been conditionally accepted for enrollment and are currently enrolled in high school. The program does not enroll students who have not graduated high school or attained a GED.)
- Completing and returning the signed Enrollment Agreement.
- Submitting the required $500 tuition deposit. (The deposit is applied toward the first semester tuition.)
- Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher on all coursework leading up to enrollment.
- Submitting updated official transcripts of courses taken during the previous term.
- Completing a pre-enrollment health screening and being cleared for enrollment by an Ascension Office of Associate Health.
- Passing a drug screen.
- Passing a background review including criminal history, sex offender check, professional license review, and excluder provider check.
- Submitting proof of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-acceptable-documents).
- Completion of CPR training (BLS for Healthcare Provider) by January 1st of the year of enrollment.
- Submitting proof of health insurance coverage by January 1st for the January start of classes.
