Life in Indianapolis
Our main campus is located on the northside of Indianapolis just inside the 465 loop. Indianapolis itself offers everything a fellow could want with small unique neighborhoods such as Meridian Hills, Meridian-Kessler, Broad Ripple, Mass Ave, Fall Creek Place, Herron Morton and Fountain Square, among others.
Sports teams include NFL Indianapolis Colts, WNBA Indiana Fever, NBA Indiana Pacers, Indy Eleven soccer, and Indy Fuel hockey. For those that live in the fast lane, the Indy 500 IndyCar race takes place in May and the month is kicked off with “The Greatest Spectacle in Running” the Indy Mini Marathon which includes a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Entertainment options include concerts, off-broadway musicals, and theater.
The outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Monon Trail connecting the city from North to South and Eagle Creek Park on the West side of the city. The city has the largest Children’s Museum, the Indianapolis Zoo, the Indiana State Museum, Newfields Art Museum among other family-fun attractions.
Just to the North of the hospital in Hamilton County is Carmel, IN - the “Capital of Roudabouts.” The Monon Trail connects Indianapolis to the Monon Arts & Design District in the Carmel City Center. Carmel offers unique shopping, food, and entertainment. Carmel is also home to the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts which houses a concert hall and theater. Carmel has an outstanding public school system as well.
