Application Process
Candidates who would like to be considered for a position in the Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship program need to submit an application via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Applicants who are offered an interview will be directed to our scheduling website to select a preferred interview date. Deadline for applications is August 1st.
Application review will begin July by our review committee - made of program leadership and core faculty. All members of the committee complete implicit bias training prior to participation in order to ensure that we conduct a thorough holistic review. Interviews will be extended in August and interviews will begin in mid August through end of October. At this time we plan to conduct our interviews virtually according to regulatory recommendations.
We will also host virtual social hours so that applicants have the opportunity to meet and interact with current PCCM Fellows. Site visits can be conducted on an individual basis but will not be taken into account for ranking.
Applicants who are interested in applying should contact the MyERAS Web site. This is where you complete your application and personal statement, select programs to apply to, and assign documents to be received by those programs.
A complete application should include:
- Complete an ERAS Common Application
- USMLE Scores or COMLEX Scores
- Personal statement
- At least 3 letters of recommendation
- Medical School Transcript
- ECFMG (if applicable)
- Our institution only sponsors J-1 Visas
