Curriculum

We aim to provide a broad and diverse training experience so our fellows can excel in any career. The first year comprises 12 clinical months while years two and three are adapted to the fellows’ career goals with research included. Half-day continuity clinic takes place consistently throughout the three years.

Not only will fellows get a thorough bedside clinical experience, they will be certified in the following procedures:

 - Arterial catheterization

 - Central venous catheters

 - Temporary hemodialysis catheters

 - Endotracheal intubation

 - Thoracentesis

 - Paracentesis

 - Tube thoracostomy

 - POCUS

 - Diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy

 - Transbronchial biopsies

 - Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) with biopsy

 - Radial ultrasound

Fellows will also have exposure with potential for certification in advanced procedures such as robotic bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy and indwelling pleural catheters.
