The Ascension St. Vincent’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program was established in 2001 to train Sonographers to perform medical imaging procedures in Jacksonville and surrounding communities. In the nearly 20 years since its founding, the Ascension St. Vincent’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program has a rich history of graduating highly competent, caring medical imaging professionals – and that tradition continues today!

Our Sonography students learn patient-focused, hands-on experience as they learn to perform sonographic procedures on actual patients using state-of-the-art medical imaging technology in hospitals, physicians offices, high risk obstetric clinics, outpatient centers and children's clinics.

Our goal is to provide you with enough information to help you make an informed decision when you apply for admission into the program. To learn more information regarding program structure, click on the "+" next to the "Program Structure" on the menu to the left.
