About Us
Ascension Seton is a 12 hospital network located in Austin, TX and the surrounding area. The primary site for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency, and PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency is Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, a large, tertiary care, academic institution and Level I Trauma center. Ascension Seton also offers a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency abased out of Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, an academic pediatric institution with a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Level I Trauma Center.
Resident rotations are offered at our two academic hospitals (Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas), Ascension Medical Group clinics, in addition to four of our community hospitals - Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, Ascension Seton Williamson, Ascension Seton Hays, and Ascension Seton Northwest.

All PGY1 residents automatically qualify for an interview for any Ascension Seton PGY2 Residency Program and early commitment may be available.
Application deadline is January 2, 2026. All materials must be received by the deadline in order to be considered for an interview. Applications must be completed through the PhORCAS system. Completed applications include:
- Letter of intent
- Official college of pharmacy transcripts
- Curriculum vitae
- Three references completed in PhORCAS
Information for reference writers: We ask that the reference writers complete the four questions that are optional in PhORCAS and include the same quantity and quality of information that they would normally include in a traditional letter of recommendation.
