Hello everyone! Welcome to the Cardiovascular Technology Program! During my 19 year career here at Ascension St. Vincent’s, I have taken many paths to become the Program Director of the Cardiovascular Technology Program. I graduated from Ascension St. Vincent’s School of Radiology in 2006, where I worked in the operating room as a radiology technologist. In 2010, I transferred to the cardiac catheterization laboratory. From there, I helped open the Clay Campus where I worked in x-ray and the cardiac catheterization/interventional radiology department. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology in December of 2016 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In spring of 2016, I transferred back to the Riverside campus where I worked as a staff radiologic technologist until the opportunity to start the program was presented to me in 2020. However, we all know what happened at that point. It would be my great honor to give you more information about the program and what you can expect!
