Curriculum
The Cardiovascular Technology Program is an eighteen (18) month competency based program, focused on development of the proper skills to graduate as an entry-level Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. The didactic portion of the program is used to guide and prepare students to take the national Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry upon completion of the program. The Cardiovascular Technology program follows the curriculum guideline put forth by The Joint Review in Education in Cardiovascular Technology. Information will be provided through various types of instruction, including lectures, powerpoints, case studies, clinical competencies, research, and self taught tutorials.
