Pharmacy resident rotations
Rotational experiences generally last one month each and include eight months of core experiences
Four months of elective experiences are available so the resident may select from among a list of available training experiences.

Critical care
- Burn
- Medical
- Emergency Services
- Neuro
- Surgical/Trauma
- Nutrition Support
- Hematology Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant
Longitudinal experiences
- Inpatient Anticoagulation Dosing Service
- Pharmacokinetic Dosing
- Committee Involvement (e.g. P&T and its subcommittees, other interdisciplinary committees)
- Formulary and Policy Maintenance
- Medication Use Evaluation (MUE)
- Safe Medication Practices and ADR Monitoring
- Hospital Pharmacy Practice
- Drug Information/Formulary Management
- Automation & Technology
- Practice Management
Concentrated experiences
Experiences will be short in duration (a few days) and focus on a specific area/task. Possible experiences include:
- Preparation and participation in The Joint Commission survey
- Budget preparation
- Travel experiences to other sites
