Our Global Health Curriculum provides opportunities for residents who have special interest in caring for populations internationally.  A multi-faceted approach is used to prepare residents for a career in which they might incorporate international medical trips including education on global health systems, cultural impact on health, and epidemiology of diseases. The Global Health Committee meets regularly to discuss relevant global health topics and articles. St Vincent collaborates with Hope and Humanity, an organization which was started by one of our own graduates.  This group focuses their efforts on the population in Honduras and residents are encouraged to participate in the annual Hope and Humanity trip.
