Requirements for Acceptance:  Prospective candidates must hold or anticipate graduation with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, eligible for Oklahoma Intern & Pharmacist license, and be committed to fulfilling all the requirements of the program.

PGY1 Program Purpose

PGY1 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

**Elective rotations are flexible. If the resident has a particular area of interest, additional elective rotations may be investigated.  Alternatively, any Required Rotation can be repeated as an Elective Rotation. 

***Longitudinal rotations begin after 6 weeks of orientation and continue through the entire residency year. Evaluated Quarterly.
