Curriculum
During each of the following rotations, fellows will be exposed to a busy vascular surgical clinic with the opportunity to see and examine patients under the supervision of the program director or the division's site lead.
- North Division (6 months)
- South Division (3 months)
- Chicago Division (3 months)
Each clinic's emphasis is the management of patients with vascular diseases, including arterial, venous and lymphatic disease. Fellows will experience all aspects of care, including office-based procedures, outpatient ambulatory procedures and formal operative procedures. You will also have the opportunity to participate in and assist with the decision-making regarding all aspects of preoperative, operative and postoperative care. This includes ICU management and the actual performances of complex operative procedures commensurate to the fellow's training level
