This application is for students interested in rotating at Ascension Genesys Hospital to audition for residency in a program. Audition applications will start being received on February 12, 2024 at 12:00 am. Please complete this application if your school does not participate with VSLO. If your school participates with VSLO you must apply using VSLO unless you are a student from one of our Primary Academic Partners MSUCOM, KCOM and CMU. These students may use the website to apply starting February 5, 2024 or starting February 12, 2024 they can use VSLO or the website to apply. The UME Manager, will contact you after receiving your application as soon as possible based on the volume of applications. Do not initiate contact prior to 4 weeks after submitting your application. Each program has criteria that must be met. For students who meet the programs criteria, some programs will be scheduling in order of submission and some programs will be reviewing applications and selecting who will rotate. Please contact the rotations specific program manager only regarding resident rotations, not audition rotations. There will be only 1 Audition rotation per program. For example, if you are auditioning for IM and want to rotate on the IM rotation, you cannot also rotate on GI since GI is an audition rotation for IM. If you are auditioning for more than one program, you must submit a separate application for each request. Enter Information into the fields below and when completed, press the “Submit ” button. All fields must be completed or there will be delay in processing them. The VISA question applies to needing a visa for residency, not the rotation. If you school is not on the list, please apply and I will contact you. This is considered an initial application for enrollment and does not guarantee a rotation. All communication will be done by email.

Pre-Qualifier

It is a requirement of most programs that Boards are passed on the first attempt. If a program does not require board passage on the first attempt the program will review the application.

FIRST CHOICE:

IM sub rotations may be used as an Internal Medicine audition rotation.

SECOND CHOICE:

Please only select a second choice if you are requesting an audition rotation for Internal Medicine or General Surgery. IM sub rotations may be used as an Internal Medicine audition rotation and Vascular Surgery may be used as a General Surgery Audition Rotation. If you want to audition for two programs you must complete a separate request for each rotation.
