Curriculum

The three year curriculum will expose the podiatric resident to a wide variety of clinical experiences throughout their time at Ascension St. Vincent. The first year will focus on the core rotations in addition to introducing them to the basics of podiatric medicine and surgery. The second year will expand on their knowledge and begin to introduce them to more advanced surgical techniques while increasing their clinical skills. The second year will also allow the resident to participate in other surgical specialties and improve their surgical skills. The third year will focus on more reconstructive surgical procedures as well as fine tuning their surgical and clinical skills and also allowing them the opportunity to rotate at private offices and rotate in sub-specialties.
