Michelle Ganoff, PharmD, BCPS
Residency Program Director
Rotation: Nephrology/Transplant

Dr. Ganoff is the clinical pharmacy specialist for nephrology and transplant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University, her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Wayne State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwestern University. She joined Ascension St. John Hospital in 1996, and currently spends time caring for renal and transplant patients in both the hospital and outpatient clinic. In her free time, she enjoys knitting and traveling with her husband.

Michelle Dehoorne, BS, PharmD
Director of Pharmacy
Rotation: Practice Management

Dr. Dehoorne obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Wayne State University, in Detroit Michigan. Upon graduation, she completed residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. At ASJH, Dr. Dehoorne began her career as our first clinical specialist. Dr. Dehoorne quickly became involved in the clinical practice model and took a lead role in developing our decentralized pharmacist model.  Through this work, Dr. Dehoorne’s role evolved into various leadership positions where she has focused on expanding the role of pharmacists through the development of various medication management services including anticoagulation, pain management, and antimicrobial stewardship. She has also led the expansion of clinical pharmacy specialist positions in high risk populations, ambulatory pharmacy, and oncology infusion centers. 


Dr. Dehoorne is very passionate about education, training and promoting pharmacists to practice at the top of their skill set. She has served as an adjunct professor at various colleges including the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for over 30 years and precepts numerous students and residents in various clinical and administrative experiential rotations. Her passion for advancing practice and training of pharmacists is demonstrated best by her leadership in residency training. At our institution, she served as the residency program director for over 20 years and expanded the program to include 4 residents. Outside of Ascension, she has presented on and taken on leadership roles in advancing residency training programs. Through her leadership in the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists, she leads projects and conferences focused on expanding residency programs, supporting preceptor development in Michigan and progressive pharmacy practice. Currently she is the President of Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists. On a personal note, Michelle enjoys spending time with her 3 adult children, photography, traveling abroad, exploring cities, national parks and wildlife, kayaking, cooking and discovering new restaurants and cuisine.

George Delgado, Jr., PharmD
Rotation: Emergency Medicine

Dr. Delgado is a clinical pharmacy specialist of emergency medicine.  He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Illinois in Chicago.  He completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Infectious Disease residencies at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Dr. Delgado joined Ascension St. John in 2010 with the goal of expanding pharmacy services in the emergency department. Dr. Delgado is passionate about teaching, as demonstrated by his precepting of pharmacy residents and students.  Dr. Delgado holds college of pharmacy faculty positions at the University of Michigan, Ohio Northern University, Midwestern University, Chicago State University, and Wayne State University. Over the past few years, Dr Delgado has expanded Emergency Medicine pharmacy services through a collaborative agreement for culture callback, 24/7 pharmacy coverage, and the Michigan Open/Medic ED Naloxone distribution program.

Mitesh Doshi, PharmD, BCPS
Rotations: Orientation, Clinical Pharmacy Experience

Dr. Doshi is the Clinical Coordinator for the inpatient pharmacy department. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. After graduation, Dr. Doshi completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Post-residency, Dr. Doshi practiced as a Clinical Pharmacist at St. John for approximately 3 years, and then transitioned into his current role as Clinical Coordinator in 2018. As part of his current role, Dr. Doshi oversees pharmacist clinical services, expands and creates new clinical services, promotes medication safety and continuing education, and precepts pharmacy students and residents. Along with precepting CE presentations, MUEs/major projects, and Orientation, Dr. Doshi has expanded his role within the residency program by creating and precepting the Clinical Pharmacy Experience (CPE) rotation on the recently created neurology unit.  Dr. Doshi has practice interests in quality/process improvements, medication safety, anticoagulation, infectious diseases, and student, intern, and resident education. In his spare time, Dr. Doshi enjoys reading, watching and playing sports, and spending time with family and friends. 

Stephanie Edwin, PharmD, BCPS-AQ Cardiology
Rotation: Cardiovascular ICU

Dr. Stephanie Edwin BCPS-AQ Cardiology is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University and completed PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy residencies at the University of Michigan Health System. In her current role, Dr. Edwin is highly engaged in patient care activities for critically ill cardiac patients specializing in anticoagulation, hemodynamics, and pharmacotherapy in the setting of cardiac surgery and mechanical circulatory support.  Dr. Edwin serves as a co-chair for the Ascension Health Cardiology Expert Review Panel, a group which makes formulary and policy decisions for the national health system. Dr. Edwin is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy at University of Michigan College of pharmacy; she enjoys precepting and providing mentorship to trainees in both pharmacy and medicine.  Dr. Edwin was recognized as an Ascension Rx National Associate of the year for embodiment of the Ascension Core Value "Wisdom" in 2022.  She was awarded “Preceptor of the Year” by the Southeastern Michigan Society of Health System Pharmacists in 2016 and "Pharmacist of the Year" in 2023.  Dr. Edwin remains highly engaged in research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications in pharmacy and medical journals.  She has lead several multicenter projects, one of which won the ASHP Foundation Resident Literature Award in 2023.  Dr. Edwin enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, watching football (Go Blue!), reading, and riding her Peloton!

Jennifer Forman, PharmD, BCPS
Rotation: Oncology

Dr. Forman earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oakland University and went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University. Dr. Forman completed a pharmacy practice residency at the Detroit Medical Center - Children’s Hospital of Michigan. After practicing as an acute care clinical pharmacist for 2 years, she moved into a pharmacy supervisor position at a local ambulatory infusion center. In 2017, she advanced into her current role with ASJH as Pharmacy Manager for their southeastern Michigan infusion centers. She is responsible for overseeing the daily pharmacy operations of 8 hospital-based and 1non-provider based infusion centers. She maintains board certification in Pharmacotherapy and Sterile Compounding. In February 2022, Dr. Forman was named one of the top 40 under 40 leaders impacting change in Oakland County. Professional interests include sterile compounding, USP 797/800 standards and medication safety. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and watching movies.

Christopher Giuliano, PharmD, MPH
Rotations: Internal Medicine, Academic

Dr. Giuliano is a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Toledo. He completed a two year Pharmacotherapy residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. In his current role at ASJH, he provides clinical pharmacy services to a diverse group of patients. Clinical services include optimization of patient pharmacotherapy using evidence based medicine principles, providing drug information responses and patient education. Dr. Giuliano is currently the Cardiovascular Team Liaison for the Michigan Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.  He was recently elected to serve as the chair elect for the Drug Information and Library Sciences Section at AACP and currently serves as the assessment committee chair. Dr. Giuliano is Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University. His teaching centers on coordinating problem based learning in toxicology and drug induced disease. Dr. Giuliano actively participates in research, with over 50 journal articles published.  He was awarded “Preceptor of the Year'' by the Southeastern Michigan Society of Health System Pharmacists in 2021.  Dr. Giuliano has worked on several multicenter projects, one of which won the ASHP Foundation Resident Literature Award in 2023.  Dr. Giuliano is proud to have developed the Health Systems Outcomes fellowship between Ascension St. John and  Wayne State University in collaboration with Michigan Anticoagulation Quality Improvement (MAQI) initiative.  He enjoys running, disc golf, and playing games with his family in his free time.

Shawn Depcinski, PharmD
Rotation: Ambulatory Care (ID)

Dr. Depcinski is a clinical pharmacy specialist at the infectious diseases clinic at Ascension St. John Center for Internal Medicine.  He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at Ferris State University, followed by PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Infectious Disease residencies at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, FL.  Prior to joining our team in 2021, Dr. Depcinski served as the pharmacy lead for the antimicrobial stewardship program at St. Luke’s University Health Network and was an Adjunct Associate Professor for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Dr. Depcinski holds adjunct faculty positions at Wayne State University and LECOM Colleges of Pharmacy. He has interests in HIV, hepatitis, diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance/stewardship, and the role that information technology can play in improving health care. In his spare time, Dr. Depcinski enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking, climbing, and traveling.

Pramodini Kale-Pradhan, PharmD, FCCP
Rotation: Infectious Disease, Academic

Dr. Kale-Pradhan is a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases. She earned her BS in Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences. Dr. Kale-Pradhan completed a Residency and Fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago in Infectious Diseases and Surgery.  Dr. Kale-Pradhan initiated clinical services at Ascension St. John Hospital which led to the expansion of over ten clinical services. Dr. Kale-Pradhan was a founding member of the Pharmacy Education Council and Residency Advisory Committee at ASJH. She has mentored many pharmacy residents through the years. Dr. Kale-Pradhan’s research has been successfully presented at local, national and international meetings. She involves many pharmacy trainees in such projects and gives them a platform to showcase their findings and has over 70 publications. Dr. Kale-Pradhan is Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University.  She teaches in all four years of the program and coordinates the first Pharmacotherapy Course for the first year students. At ASJH, she coordinates the Longitudinal Advanced Pharmacy Practice Program (LAPP) for the fourth year students. She is actively involved in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and has served on a number of committees. Dr. Kale-Pradhan’s extracurricular interests include tennis, travel and spending time with family and friends.

Melvin Leonard, PharmD
Rotation: Transition of Care (CHF)

Melvin Leonard is a pharmacist with a focus in Transition of Care (TOC).  He received his pharmacy degree from Ferris State University and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Florida. Dr. Leonard also completed a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy from University of Florida.  As one of the TOC team leads, begins his day early gathering information and precepts student pharmacists, interns, and/or residents with initial focus of heart failure.  Other areas of disease states are addressed (e.g. asthma, COPD, immunizations).   I make it a priority to ensure we work as a team, communication with the staff RNs on the unit, advanced practice providers, physicians, case management and social work to care for these patients. Responsibilities include reviewing medication histories on admission and reviewing reconciliations prior to discharge to ensure the most accurate information is provided.   Our TOC is accessible to the nursing staff and providers for any questions and clarifications, as well as several opportunities to provide patient education in person.  Melvin Leonard’s outside interests include exercise, volunteering, and activities with his young family at home.

Melissa Lipari, PharmD, BCACP
Rotation: Ambulatory Care, Academic

Dr. Lipari is a clinical pharmacy specialist of ambulatory care who provides patient care in the Ascension St. John Family Medicine Clinic.  Dr. Lipari is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University.  She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University and completed PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residencies at DMC Harper University Hospital.  She has a record of excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship that promotes pharmacy education and improves patient outcomes. Dr. Lipari  has spent the past 10 years developing a model of practice to improve patient care, and has successfully integrated her patient care skills into her didactic and experiential teaching. Dr. Lipari has become a vital member of the family medicine team by achieving patient care goals that have promoted healthcare reform models at her clinic site. She has also taken on leadership roles at the local, state, and national level. This is evidenced through her work on college curriculum and assessment committees, and chairing committees at the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. 

Jessika Richards, PharmD, BCPPS
Rotation: Pediatrics/PICU 

Dr. Richards is the Pediatric Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Nebraska Medicine followed by a PGY-2 pediatric residency at Michigan Medicine. Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Richards continued her practice at Michigan Medicine as a Pediatric Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and transitioned to her current role at ASJH in 2018.  Dr. Richards is responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management for pediatric critical care and general pediatric patients within the Ascension St. John Children's Hospital.  Additional responsibilities include participating in local, state, and national committees; policy and electronic health record development and enhancement; and education of both medical and pharmacy students and residents. Dr. Richards is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Wayne State University and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Michigan. Dr. Richards offers general pediatric and pediatric intensive care residency rotations. In her spare time, she enjoys adventures with her husband and two young sons, figure skating and football.

Renee Alexander Paxton, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP
Rotation: Surgical ICU

Dr. Renee Paxton is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the surgical intensive care unit.  She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University in 2004.  She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Ascension St John Hospital in Detroit, MI and PGY-2 Critical Care Residency at Henry Ford Hospital, in Detroit, MI. In addition to board certification in pharmacotherapy and critical care, she also carries specialty certifications in pain management, STOP the Bleed, and is working on a pharmacogenomics certification. For the past 15 years, Dr. Paxton has functioned as a consultant in pharmacotherapy to surgeons and critical care providers. She leads and contributes to many institutional, regional, and national committees. She is the Chair of the Critical Care Drug Specialty Panel, developing many policies, guidelines, and order sets to improve care to critically ill patients.  Dr. Paxton is also involved in research, which has resulted in numerous publications and abstract presentations. Dr. Paxton is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy primarily at Wayne State University, precepting students and residents for 18 years. She was awarded “Preceptor of the Year” by the Southeastern Michigan Society of Health System Pharmacists in 2023.  Dr. Paxton has a passion for traveling. She has been to all the continents (except Antarctica), over 72 countries and all the US states. She loves spending time with her family and friends as well.

Jennifer Priziola, PharmD, MBA, BCPS
Rotation: Drug Information

Dr. Priziola earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr. Priziola joined the ASJH pharmacy leadership team in October 2019 as the Manager of Clinical and Business Services. Dr. Priziola’s previous roles at a local health system included Critical Care Pharmacy Specialist, Clinical Coordinator, Residency Program Director and Clinical Manager. Dr. Priziola values continual learning and has maintained Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy since 2007, completed the ASHP Leadership Academy in 2015 and earned her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from New England College in 2017. Dr. Priziola has precepted over 30 PGY-1 Pharmacy Residents, mentored several residency research projects and precepted over 100 IPPE/APPE pharmacy students from several Colleges of Pharmacy. Dr. Priziola’s daily responsibilities include optimizing and advancing pharmacy clinical services and ensuring financial stewardship through medication management. Her pharmacy practice interests include enhancing and expanding the pharmacy practice model, including the integration of learners into the practice model, multidisciplinary process improvement projects and optimizing patient education with the goal of improving patient outcomes. Dr. Priziola is a member of ASHP, MPA, MSHP and president elect of Macomb County Pharmacist Association.   Dr. Priziola enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and two Border Collies and cheering on the sidelines at her son’s football games.

Samantha Scalia, PharmD
Rotation: Transition of Care (CHF)

Dr. Samantha Scalia is a pharmacist with a focus on Transitions of Care (TOC).  She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wayne State University and completed PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Ascension St. John Hospital.  As one of the TOC team leads, she helps precept students, interns and residents for patients with heart failure.  Her clinical focus includes medication histories, discharge reconciliations and medication education for patients.  In addition to heart failure, additional disease states such as asthma, COPD, allergies and immunizations are addressed.  She enjoys spending time with her family, baking and crafting.

Corinne Songer, PharmD, BCPPS
Rotation: Neonatal ICU

Dr. Songer is the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy residencies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Songer helps to optimize patient care by working with multiple subspecialties and providers within the NICU. She is also committed to the education of pharmacy students, medical residents, and pharmacy residents. Dr. Songer offers both APPE and residency rotations in the NICU. Recently, Dr. Songer became a board certified pediatric pharmacy specialist. Her clinical interests include fluid management, parenteral nutrition, and antimicrobial stewardship. Outside of work, Dr. Songer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dog Harvey, and exploring new places and foods.

Adrian Tsui, PharmD, BCOP
Rotation: Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Adrian Tsui is a clinical pharmacy specialist in hematology/oncology.  He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Dr. Tsui went on to complete a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn, and a PGY-2 oncology pharmacy residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Tsui recently was accepted into the Masters of Public Health program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Tsui works closely with the hematology/oncology fellowship program, where he actively rounds with both the inpatient medical oncology and hematology consult services, along with providing clinical and operational support to the outpatient infusion centers and Ascension hospitals. He also serves as faculty in the Ascension St. John Hospital Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program. His practice interests include hematology/oncology stewardship, supportive care, infectious diseases, transitions of care, pharmacoepidemiology, and public health. Dr. Tsui enjoys spending time with family and friends and the outdoors, as well as exploring different cultures and geographical regions through food, music, travel, and history.

Kevin Tsz Hin Ng, PharmD

Rotation: Medical ICU

Dr. Kevin Tsz Hin Ng is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the medical intensive care unit. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. He was a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice resident at ASJH and later completed his PGY-2 training in Infectious Diseases at DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital. His clinical interest includes: gram-negative bacterial resistance, diagnostic stewardship and fluid management. Outside of pharmacy he enjoys working on cars, weight lifting, and snuggling his pup!
