Medical Students

Opportunities to Work and Learn

At Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, there are multiple opportunities for students to work and learn. We offer 3rd and 4th year clinical rotations.

Ascension St. Vincent is affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Our dynamic student education program brings over 100 students to our Ascension St. Vincent campuses each month where they experience a wide variety of educational opportunities. Ascension St. Vincent rotations are considered outstanding by Indiana University and Marian University medical students.

Rotations

We welcome and encourage 4th year medical students with Indiana University and Marian University to complete an elective rotation at our hospital. It is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience and to see the daily activities and functioning of an independent academic medical center.

For IU and MUCOM students, all rotations should be scheduled through your applicable school to receive academic credit for electives. To add, drop or check availability of a St. Vincent elective after the initial match, please contact the applicable Coordinator of Medical Student Education below:
