Dr. Sahil Amin was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Genetic Development and a Master’s of Health Administration at Penn State University. Dr. Amin earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Amin's interests in podiatric medicine include reconstructive surgery and trauma. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys a variety of hobbies such as archery, spending time with friends and family, exercising, reading and writing, playing drums and guitar, hiking, and biking.

Rachel Christensen, DPM

Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

Undergraduate: East Tennessee University

Podiatry School: Des Moines University

Dr. Rachel Dobrozsi, DPM, is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Her early experiences in patient care and community service ignited her passion for medicine. She later moved to the mountains of Tennessee, where she earned her B.S. in Human Sciences from East Tennessee State University. Subsequently, she obtained her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines.

University where she was actively involved in research and enjoyed working as a teaching assistant. While in school, Dr. Dobrozsi also dedicated time to community outreach by volunteering with organizations such as Girls on the Run and Remote Area Medical, working to promote health, education, and confidence in underserved populations as well as local youth. Her clinical interests encompass reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, limb salvage, and pediatrics, all rooted in a deep commitment to compassionate, individualized, patient-centered care. 

Excited to continue her training at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Indianapolis, Dr. Dobrozsi was particularly drawn to the program’s strong sense of collaboration, high surgical standards, and commitment to resident development. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, exercising, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two energetic dogs.

Nathan Jackson, DPM 

Hometown: Cameron, MO 

Undergraduate: University of Saint Mary Medical School: 

Podiatry School: Des Moines University-College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery 

Dr. Jackson was born and raised in northwestern Missouri. He completed his undergraduate career at the University of Saint Mary, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology as well as psychology. During his undergraduate career, he also competed in intercollegiate cross country and track and field. He then earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Jackson first became interested in podiatry after sustaining multiple fractures in his foot from long distance running which was further complicated by a neurological condition and personally experienced the need for quality foot and ankle physicians. His medical interests include reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, sports medicine, limb salvage, and podiatric medical research and innovation. Dr. Jackson is excited to train in an environment that is rigorous, yet supportive, and to become part of the tight-knit family that is characteristic among ASVI’s podiatric residents and attendings. He looks forward to the opportunity to gain experience under attendings who are thought leaders in the field of podiatric medicine and surgery. In his free time, you will find Dr. Jackson running and training for his next big race. He also enjoys swimming, biking, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite quote is by Thomas Edison: “Of the 200 light bulbs that didn’t work, every failure told me something that I was able to incorporate into the next attempt.” 

Zach Laughlin, DPM

Hometown: Minneapolis, MN

Undergraduate: University of Minnesota

Podiatry School: Des Moines University

Dr. Zach Laughlin was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, before going on to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. Dr. Laughlin's areas of interest in podiatric medicine and surgery include reconstructive surgery for limb deformities, particularly Charcot reconstruction, ankle arthroplasty, trauma, limb salvage, and arthroscopy. He is excited to continue his education and surgical training at Ascension St. Vincent, where he is inspired by the drive, knowledge, and compassion of the attendings and residents, as well as the strong, tight-knit culture the program has fostered. In his free time, Dr. Laughlin enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, hiking, playing with his cats, running, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises.

Austin Combs, DPM

Hometown: Newark, Ohio

Undergraduate: Otterbein University

Medical School: Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Combs was born and raised in Newark, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, along with a minor in Nutrition. During his time at Otterbein, he played collegiate football and began his journey in podiatry at a private practice clinic in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked as a medical and research assistant for three years prior to matriculating to medical school.

Dr. Combs earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. While in medical school, he served as Director of Research, Vice President of the Anatomy Honor Society, and as a teaching assistant and tutor.

His professional interests in podiatric medicine and surgery include limb salvage, wound care, trauma, reconstructive surgery, research, and practice management. Dr. Combs is excited to join the Ascension family and continue advancing his clinical knowledge and surgical training alongside the team at Ascension St. Vincent. He was drawn to the program’s strong sense of community, extensive networking opportunities, and the encouragement to develop an individualized path within podiatry, which he experienced firsthand during his student rotations.

In his free time, Dr. Combs enjoys watching and attending college and professional football games, playing golf with friends and family, exploring investment opportunities, and unwinding in the evenings by watching new Netflix or HBO series, his favorites being the Office and Game of Thrones.

Jacob Hoffman, DPM

Hometown: Mandeville, Louisiana 

Undergraduate: University of Louisiana at Lafayette 

Podiatry School: Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University

Dr. Hoffman was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but raised in Mandeville, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Hoffman went on to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. His interests in podiatric medicine and surgery include Reconstructive surgery, Trauma, Limb Salvage, and Podiatric Medical Research. Dr. Hoffman is excited to be continuing his education and surgical training at Ascension St. Vincent, he appreciates the inspiring atmosphere, the knowledge and enthusiasm of everyone present, and the desire the attendings and residents share to provide care for their community. In his free time Dr. Hoffman enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing golf, watching his favorite movies, and spending time with his family and friends. 

Bethany Robinson, DPM

Hometown: Phoenix, AZ

Undergraduate: Northern Arizona University

Medical School: Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine- Midwestern University 

Dr. Robinson is a second-generation Arizonan and Northern Arizona University Lumberjack. At NAU, she majored in biology, with minors in chemistry and psychology, and graduated from the Honors College. She then earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University- Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine. 

 She is passionate about research and contributing to advancements in the field. Her interests in podiatry include trauma, sports medicine, and total ankle replacements.  She is excited to complete her surgical and medical training at St. Vincent Indianapolis. In her free time, Dr. Robinson enjoys lifting weights, traveling, and working on puzzles. 

Allyson Will, DPM

Hometown: St. Charles, IL
Undergrad: Loyola University Chicago
Med School: Rosalind Franklin University - Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Will was born and raised in St Charles, IL. She completed her undergraduate education at Loyola Chicago where she earned her bachelors in science in psychology with a minor in
biology.  She went on to earn her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Rosalind Franklin University - Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine located in northern Illinois.

Dr. Will is thrilled to pursue her podiatric residency training at Ascension St. Vincent. She was drawn to the program by the people and the culture as well as the wide variety of surgical
exposure. Her interests in podiatric medicine and surgery include reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, peripheral nerve surgery, and sports medicine.

Outside of podiatry, Dr. Will enjoys a variety of hobbies such as running, biking, swimming, playing volleyball, cooking, hanging with her cats, or spending time with friends and family.
