Dear Prospective Allied Health Students,
We want to welcome and encourage you to explore the Ascension St. Vincent College of Health Professions! The Ascension St. Vincent College is a hospital-based institution of higher learning owned and operated by Ascension St. Vincent. The College exists to award an Associate Degree in training programs that are offered by our Ascension St. Vincent hospitals.
Our Ascension St. Vincent hospitals in Indianapolis, Anderson and Kokomo currently have a long-standing, successful program in radiography and have recently launched new surgical technology program. Each program has designed a rigorous curriculum with an active clinical and field participation. Our radiography, sonography and cardiac sonography programs award the Associate of Applied Science degree under the College’s accreditation by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). The College's ABHES accreditation makes the Ascension St. Vincent the only hospital-sponsored academic institution in Indiana accredited to award academic degrees. Our radiography, sonography, cardiac sonography and surgical technology programs are also fully authorized by the Indiana Board for Proprietary Education.
We value individuals and want to make a positive difference in the lives of patients we serve. Our commitment is to provide students with the highest quality health education available and the appropriate pathway to professional certification. Our goal is to serve as a model for hospital-based allied health education and training and we are looking for individuals that are called to serve and learn in our hospital communities.
Please take some time to look over the information presented and let us know if you have any questions. We hope to hear from you soon.
